Baking bread ( =/= breaking bad 😛 ) is addictive! I wanted to make sour dough bread but always ended up mixing the dough with instant bread yeast. Probably the yeast in my sour dough starter is not active enough and normally I can’t wait to make a bread loaf so… Anyway, after failing countless times, think I started to pick up some tricks gradually that I can make a loaf without following any recipes, and process by just looking, smelling and feeling the consistency of the bread dough.
Yeast is another interesting topic here, it is a live culture that can be used in baking, cooking and brewing. As I am also keen on brewing kombucha, surely I’ll dig deeper on this topic later.
